Tisha b'Av from Downtown Jerusalem by BE THERE ISRAEL

Radio Free Nachlaot and BE THERE ISRAEL were at Gan HaSoos ("The Horse Park") in Jerusalem on the evening of Tisha b'Av, 5771, with hundreds of "Tent City Protesters" who have taken over Jerusalem's public parks in recent weeks.

Rabbi Aaron Leibowitz and Rav Raz Hartman led a reading of "Eicha" for the Protesters, many of whom looked as if they hadn't stepped foot inside a Shul since their Bar/Bas Mitzvah - and yet everyone knew, instinctively, the trope for Eicha - because, apparently, it's in our blood.
